Hi guys & girls

Ive got an R32 GTS-T, 194xxx kms on it, still runs very reliably & can be used as a daily driver with no hassle. Its wine red metallic, nissan paint code AH3 i believe. It has a fair few mods, some not very obvious:

turbosmart plumb-back BOV

pod filter with UAS cover (modified GTR)

turbosmart dual stage boost controller

walbro in tank 500hp fuel pump

slotted front rotors

17" rims & good tyres (option to sell with a set of 16" R34 GT wheels, or a set of 18" diablo wheels)

3" exhaust turbo back

UAS cerametallic single plate clutch (smooth in traffic but can handle spirited driving if required)

gtr front seats

turbo timer & 3 stage alarm/immobiliser

rebuilt factory LSD tightened up a little over standard

HICAS lock bar

catch can

Splitfire coil packs

Couple of interior gauges on pillar & in centre console, boost gauge & water temp (not yet connected) on pillar, & air/fuel ratio & oil temp (not yet connected) in centre console below CD player.

The car is a 92 model, & as such is not perfect. For example, the passenger power window is giving me some grief at the moment, but given the heat recently its on the top of my "to-fix" list. Air con also requires a regas, still works but isnt cooling very well. Theres a few small niggles like this, but nothing that stops the car from functioning perfectly as a daily driver or weekend cruiser.

I can get the car dyno'd if requested, last dyno run after fuel pump install saw 145kw at the wheels, but that was before new clutch, diff rebuild, pod filter & BOV swap, splitfires & RB25 AFM were fitted. Im guessing conservatively now should be 150kw-160kw on around 13psi on standard turbo.

As well as this, i have an R31 sedan with a RB25DET from a S2 R33. This is the engine i had planned to use for the R32, & sell the body once i had done the transplant. It has standard R31 gearbox & diff, the previous owner told me both of these had been rebuilt recently.

I have also acquired an RB25 gearbox from a separate car, which was to be installed once the motor is in & running without any hassles. Stock standard, supposedly running & shifting fine, though i havent fitted it to a car to confirm this.

I have a small collection of aftermarket goodies as well, R33 power fc with hand controller, Z32 AFM, things like that which were all acquired for the conversion. The only thing thats missing is a S2 R33 engine loom. Everything else i have which can get the motor in the car & running.

Pics & any additional info will be PM'd upon request, this is only EOI & im not pushing a sale, just seeing if anyone is interested in the parts & possibly to finish the conversion ive planned on.

Prices for the cars & gearbox separately:

R32 - $10000, with rego until June (i think or July) 2011, just short of $10K worth of receipts for parts & labour spent on the car, as well as blue slip papers for a defect clearance from early 2010.

R31 - $2000, not rego'd & would require blue slip & re-engineering, body is rusty & engine is suspected to have a blown head gasket, so is not being started regularly to prevent any damage. The car is running & driveable, so can be driven onto a car trailer for transport.

RB25 gearbox - $1250

If someone wanted both cars & the gearbox together, i would be asking $11,500 & could then negotiate cheaper prices on aftermarket goodies to be put with the sale at a cheaper price if requested.

PLEASE NOTE: aftermarket parts will ONLY be sold after the cars sell (or with the sale), i wont sell before in case the cars dont sell & i decide to go ahead with the conversion, so please dont ask unless the cars are 100% SOLD.

Cars are located in NSW, western sydney approx 30 mins from Penrith in 2 different locations. The R32 is with me as i drive it regularly, the R31 is covered up at my folks place.

Im not setup to courier the cars to any other states, so unless someone is willing to organise the entire courier side of things this wont be an option, local inspection & sale prefered.

PM me on here, or msg me on 0407 896 339. Pics & further details on any mods ive skipped & work done to the car will be made available on request. I might even add links for some pics to this in a couple of days. This is only EOI, & im not decided on if il sell the cars yet or not, but another project has caught my attention....thanks for looking guys & girls.

No offers at all guys??

The R31 & RB25 box wont be available for sale unless they go either with or after the R32 is sold, because if it doesnt sell im planning to keep them & do the conversion....i would much rather sell to embark on a new project.

Not really interested in trades, but throw me some prices if youre interested in buying.

Cheers

Ok R32 is officially up for sale, starting at $10K, NEGOTIABLE so throw me any realistic offers you have.

I can remove some mods to drop the sale price also, things like coil packs, gtr seats, swap wheels, etc....

PRICE DROP!!!

R32 is now $9000 as is with GTR bonnet & grille with 1 litre of colour matched paint to replace the slightly dented GTS-T bonnet.

OR

$8000 with standard seats, R34 GT wheels, stock BOV, airbox & coilpacks. Still includes the GTR bonnet, grille & paint as well as all other mods listed.

  • 2 weeks later...

PRICE DROP!!!

$8500 with R34 GT wheels, ive taken the other wheels off for my R31 which is no longer for sale.

Bonnet & paint still included, this price currently still includes GTR seats & Splitfire coil packs....

Also, will POTENTIALLY do a part-trade for a cheaper car with cash my way. Prefer something capable of towing, maybe a hilux or something like that, 4WD possibly....make me an offer.

Cheers

Ive had a few more people look at the car & show interest, no solid offers just yet.

More negotiable for this week as rego is due 5th of June, once car has 12 months rego the price will be firmer.

Cheers mate, ive had a fair few people interested now so i hope it goes to someone whos going to have fun with it & enjoy it as i have.

GTR bonnet & colour matched paint can still be included for SAU members free of charge, this IS NOT advertised with the car on carsales, exclusive deal for forum members only (another $1000 worth of value). There are also standard bits available that can be put in with sale, eg coilpacks (unless sold prior), fuel pressure regulator, factory airbox (WILL be sold with car not separate), spare set of stock front suspension, leaking power steering pump (good for reco, was running fine just leaking), front left hub assembly (spare), & possibly more ive forgotten....

    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
