Hehe haters gotta hate

Longest "straight" is enough to get the Honda up to about 120 (limiter in 3rd) if I get the previous corner exit OK. Remember it's only got 120kW, and weighs well over 1000kg so certainly not a drag weapon (I peak out at about 175-180 down the straight at Lakeside). I'd say the faster AWD guys would possibly get up to 130 - 140 (total guess there). I have no idea how long the straight is, but that might give you a bit of an idea. Besides, it's not really a straight, but generally enough to let you keep it flat for the length of it.

Here's a vid of an Evo running the course to show you the track.

Any AWD on semis will do well out there, specially if you're not afraid to get it sliding a bit. The slower AWD's tend to drive within the friction limits (or go totally nuts and hang it sideways everywhere). I'd say a decently prepped emo, with experienced driver should shake up the top guys quite nicely.

Pity about the R35 comment - I'd like to see one run. Maybe if I ever end up owning one it will make it out there.

I wanna go :) I think low range runs out at about 100 from memory, so might have to stick in high ;) - but the bloody stability control doesn't turn all the way off unless in Low. Grrrr

A 35 would go well no doubt, cheater gearbox.

yeah the QR Wed Arvo Sprints have 2 sessions on Clubman track and 2 sessions on Sprint track. Not sure if I'll do the autocross or the QR thing... the weather could decide for me if i don't make up my mind beforehand

    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
