crazy boost gauge!

The original boost gauge in the car has gone crazy! well when I turn on the car the original boost gauge in my R33 goes straight to high and doesn't come down. Once in a blue moon the gauge will go back to normal but then it will go back up to high reading. even when the car is at idel. but my HKS bost gauge works fine.

Is there something wrong some where has anyone had this problem?

And can this problem be the cause of my car to idel and stall when I pull up to go into a driveway or a set of lights?

Maybe the factory boost sensor has came unscrewed due to vibrations and is floating around the engine bay unsecured. Boost sensors have to be up the right way (i think) for them to work properly so maybe that could be it.

Something near that area in mine has lost a screw, don't know what it is but the car is still running fine. It's just sitting there resting on the wheel cover. I'll fix it soon though.

Check the rubber hose in the engine bay that the stock boost controller is plugged into. Its the one right up against the firewall that plugs into the back of the intake plenum.

checked that hose isn't blocked and the unit it plugs into works fine also!
