Exterior:

New paint job 6 months old in silver darker than original, painted mirrors door frames etc etc (see pic) standard rims with near new Potenza GIII tyres front 185's and some crapy dunlop sp300e's onthe rear 165's. Front suspension is kyb with nolathane kit, lowsered king springs and a larger whiteline swaybar.

Rear suspensions is pedders crap with lowered king springs and nolathane bushes. upgraded supervented cross drilled front disks with red paint on the upgraded calipers (wow) which need to be replaced. standard disks on the rear.

Car was designed to look like a sleeper so no rims and not too low (which keeps the cops off my back)

(have respect for the law just not the cops amongst it with nothing better to do)

New windscreen, interior is quite good for its age, new carpet, solex locks front and back, have remote central locking but not hooked up (too lazy to do it), 3 year old sony deck that could do with replacing, great phillips amp 4 channell bla bla bla, not good enough to compete onchapel street but is enough to put a smile on your face.

has a boost gauge disguised as a clock where the digital cleck usually goes nothing fancy simple vdo.

Engine:

The work was done at Advanced vehicle design by me for me to be enjoyed by me and not others at shows or the track. cant compete with con @ 12.20 or dan murphy @11 something but it has enough grunt to hose off a wrx! which costs them about 20 grand and some embarasment. other victories include many xr6 turbos, ss comodore utes, r33 gtst's and gtir's.

Microtech MT8 (with handset)

bosch injectors

match ported head inlet and outlet, over sized valves, tandard cam (interesting isnt it) also polished na just kidding as you should know it does nothing.

T28 garrett turbo just rebuilt

old style blitz front mount intercooler

ACL remake pistons with chrome rings

Copper head gasket

crack tested block, head, conrods, crank etc

lightened and balanced bottom end with new bearings and seals etc

regraphed ignition system

twin thermo fans

4 puk padle clutch

dont ask about gearboxes just bring a trailer.

I have come to notice that people dont like to share information to newbies so i wont disrupt the flow but to the lucky buyer yes you I will show you how to build an n12 box with lsd or ld from an n13 box. have done and will show only to buyer after sale!

factory oil cooler

3 inch dump pipe with hi flow cat down to 2.5 inch small muffler concealed by an appropriately sized chrome tip.

motor has done approximatley 12,000 kms since full rebuild. Still holds original cylinder compression. (leak down test) The motor has been on the dyno with 134 Kw at the wheels @ 24 psi but i usually run around 15 and the hilo switch gives me 20 and 21 23psi on a cold day. needs new wastegate and controller (cost about $200 or so)

I want $7000 you can catch me at [email protected] or even better just call me on 0413 714 354.

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
