Cooling System Help

[]hi guys i am doing a rb20det conversion on my vl yes i no its not a skyline but it is still a nissan motor can any one tell me please where this hose goes or what it is and can i remove it and block it off it comes out of the thermo housing but there is no where to attach it

beleive that goes through the plenum, throttle body etc., or the oil cooler
