Spraying Standard Wheels On R32

Thinking about spray painting my R32 rims for shits and giggles this Saturday... what do you guys think?

I'm thinking going black, then spraying a chrome paint around the edges to give it a similar effect to this;

So you've got the chrome on the outside and black on the inside.

I was also thinking about spraying it white..

What do you guys think?

I think not...

im assuming your car is white yeah.. in which case Id go a metallic charcoal buffed to a mirror sheen, probably without chrome lip but could work with..

if you insist on chrome strip and its just for shits n giggles do the metalcast blue....for sexeeeeee appeal.....

taping up a finish line from the chrome to black would be a major pain in the ass , probably better off to go with a full colour , gloss probably. gold or back for a white car

I had the same idea with my 32 stockies and it was near impossible to tape up a perfect circle for a chrome lip

so i ended up spraying them completely black.

Might go the completely black idea.. I'll see what paint they have.

If they have some awesome color I might try do a bit of a edge in a funky color for lulz.

i actually seen a black 32 with white stock wheels this morning, it looked shocking..lol

so yeah, black or maybe full chrome

stock wheels look like ass no matter what colour you paint them, save ya pennies and buy a decent set

paint it.....why not there stockies and it cost under $50, just recruit one of your mates to help you like i did and the proccess is easy and the ending result could shock you.....my BLACK stokies came out okay for first try if i was to do it again it should come out better. I also helped my uncle paint his ford rims in time for his weeding and they came out even better.

I painted my rims black too. Results are great although mines starting to have hints of white showing cos i didn really do layers,,, jsut did it till it looked good. But its defs worth doing. Cost me 15 bucks, if theres any issues i can jsut do it again for 15.
