If I'm not mistaken, it also has Ksport brakes? Don't think he drives it hard enough because it always looks so clean :)

Someone should hit him up and get him to join us on one of our runs.

We need another funky colour so the Abom doesn't get all the attention!

yeah, I think he lives around perth st area as well. Was having a bit of a chat to him one night, he was telling me about his dramas with manual conversion using the auto ecu :P

10am eh, when and where are they cruising?

don't like swifts and focii (unless its a hottie driving) or flat brimmers!

It's on their facebook page - Last Place Cruising.

Meet at the lookout at 10am.

10:30 cruise starts heading out to ravensbourne lookout and photos taken.

12:00 - 12:30 back into toowoomba parking at the duggan st parking then into the gladstone for lunch n drinks.

I suppose from ravensbourne, we could then decide to go our way and have lunch at the withcott pub?

I personally wouldn't buy a swift nor a focus but apparently some of these guys have had their share of modded imports in the past. I have been known to discriminate against certain cars and mod trends but I'm trying to change my stripes :P

Yeah I might head out. Was going to go for a nice drive with Amy in the 32 on Sunday anyway. Might go to this instead

I have no idea where this silly lookout is and cbf'd googling. I only know that north st passes straight thru the heart of derelict central in Toowoomba :P

Alternatively, could meet up at mine cos I think I'm closer to the lookout yea?

Besides, I haven't gotten the call from Chris to say I can pick up the new girl.

At least I know it's not a rushed in/out sorta job...or perhaps he just wants to keep the evo for a little bit to enjoy himself :ph34r:

They don't have a theme as far as I know. They just welcome anyone and everyone. All cars seem to be welcomed as well as long as they aren't idiots and abide by the rules of the cruise.

I didn't make it. Nobody seemed keen enough and I'm not rocking up alone.

When's the next TSO + E run? :P

I spent most of the day either running errands or watching the bathurst 12hr. Fking Nissan decided once again to prove they're shit by supplying blindfolds to each of their drivers and use it they did! :dry:

Can't wait to see what cars run at next year's. I'm surprised that none of these rich people chose to use an LFA or a Koenigsegg or an Aston Martin. If they can spend stupid money fitting a 5ltr V8 into a Ford Focus and turn it RWD, they should have gone for something that exotic just for kicks.

      I thought it could be an issue because the standard plate was flexing when stressed. Maybe the original gear set will hold a bit better without flex? Last time on the dyno it made around 670nm at the hubs. Now it have bigger turbo and better intake but have not been on a dyno yet. The car is being used from family trips to drag race events. So the shifts can be a little violent. It is grinding if I shift to fast so was thinking I should overhaul it soon.

      From the factory on RB26s there's a fitting on the intake manifold collector/"plenum" that provides pre-throttle boost signal. That's how they did it back in the day, I figure it's fine to replicate it.

      I would be surprised if that wasn't the issue. It's probably telling you, that even if you remove the plastic liner, you may have some other clearance issues that may occur too in some scenarios. IE, tyre to guard. It looks like someone has already rolled the lip, but you may still have issues in the future IE, turning and hitting a bump etc. The fact it changes how bad it makes the noise when you are going backward vs forward is highly indicative that it's the tyre rubbing. They do make a terrible sound, even if you're only pushing a project car that has a liner hanging down on a tyre!   Has the car been lowered? If it has been, what is the measurement from the centre of the wheel hub to the lip of the guard straight up?

      Mark's a bit smarter than people give him credit... He'd convince the person that is to become dead, to drive him to the forest first. That way his car has no evidence in it, and he's free to dispose of their vehicle permanently how he sees fit too...
