Power Steering Fluid Leaking?

Hello SAU

I was changing my springs today when I realised pinkish brown fluid dripping from the boot on the steering arm mainly from the exhaust side but also a little on the other side. The fluid is almost as thick as oil. Im new to skylines so Im not even too sure where the power steering reservior is, although I'm assuming its the black reservoir near the afm. I had a look inside it and its almost empty. Btw its a R32 GTS4

Does anyone have any idea what this fluid could be?

yea I'd say thats the power steering fluid thats leaking. I had the same problem recently and replaced both the hoses that go from the pump to the reservoir. when buying replacement hoses try to take the old hoses in with you so they can get the closest match possible. very important not to let the pump run completely dry otherwise you could be up for a new pump.

on an r32 I'm not too sure as I have an r33. i know on mine its at the right side of the engine bay next to the strut tower. It should have fluid very similar to transmission fluid in it ( pinkish/red sort of colour)
