Neo Rb25De: Blown Head Gasket. Which One To Get?

So as the title states, I have a R34 RB25DE NEO motor i have been building for about 8 months now. I just recently was able to start it and ran it in my driveway for about 5-10 min. then it started smoking white smoke really bad. I just changed the oil and this was the first start up of the motor. It idled great actually to my surprise but when i checked the oil it was as white as milk!! so i did a compression test and sure enough the 5th cylinder was dead. I am running a turbo on this car so i want to get a thicker gasket to drop the compression but now i just don't know who to go with. Do i get a Cometic one or Tomei or cosworth or what. Any help would be great!! Thanks in advance!!

strongly suggest you find out WHY the gasket blew in the first place, you could put the best gasket that money could buy in there but it will die too if you dont work out what the underlying problem is

True. The car is at the shop getting down pipe and exhaust done. When it comes back I'm going to pop the head off and check it out. If it us just because it over heated at some point what would be a good one to go with? For reference because I will replace it no matter what.

get a standard headgasket, they work in high psi motors so should do the trick and it would be available at most auto stores

Ya i live in the states they dont have any parts in the stores unfortunately so the internet is my friend lol

I do though have another question. I want to lower the compression on the motor. What thickness should i go with? 1.2mm, 1.5mm 1.8mm?!?!?

why do you want to lower the comp?is it because you dont have access to high octane unleaded?lowering the comp will affect off boost response a lot
