From what i understand about a power FC it's a stand alone engine management system where as the Greddy is the top piggy back system out there. So if you want a piggy back system and save yourself some cash then the Greddy Ultimate is the way to go for sure. But if you want a stand alone then yeah you could go with a Power FC or my choice would be AEM but then your spending the big bucks. The AEM is about $1700US where the Power FC is around $999US I believe and from Greddy the Ultimate is $690US. I've got an AEM so that's why i'm trying to get rid of my Greddy at such a low price. This link right here tells you all the models the Greddy is compatible with in the nissan family http://www.greddy.com/products/electronics/e-manage-ultimate/filter:make:Nissan/ We can't import R34's to Canada yet so i don't know how they work with them but they are compatible with my harness. As for tuning ability it's remarkable the things you can do with this machine check it out on Greddy.com and as for cost as long as you find someone that knows how to tune the cost should be relatively the same as anything else.

Although the emanage ultimate is still quite a high price here, I have been looking for one for a little while now and found a fair few come up on eBay US in the last few weeks for around the 350-400 USD mark with and without harnesses.

Where as the blues are selling for between 120-250 USD.

I don't want to put a downer on your thread but that has been my experience while searching for one.

Yeah i've seen those also but the blues are nothing compared to the ultimate, The Ultimates your seeing are normally used where mine is new, Some of the systems come with a universal harness, greddy doesnt even make a universal harness since that's impossible since the ecu's aren't the same in all cars and need to be wired entirely differently. They also don't come with the software cd, they say you can download the software which you can but you need the cd first to up load everything onto your e-manage ultimate and formulate a base map then you can download the updates without that you have to sick with whatever tune or version of the system the seller had on the piggy back system before you got it, which is useless to you since no car is gonna be the same when it comes to tuning it. These are things that are failed to be mentioned by the Ebay sellers. They also sell a complete harness kit on Ebay which is they build half the harness for you then you have to make another harness to fit your car( picture below)So if you go on Ebay and look for E-Manage Ultimate with everything like the car specific harness, software cd and brand new unit you'll see your looking at no less then 800US. I'm just trying to get rid of extra stuff i know it's a good product so i dont want to see anyone being had on ebay with there "oops i forgot to tell you need this cd of oops yeah you need to build the rest of the harness yourself kinda thing" I'm not stuck at my price i love skylines and us owners rock haha so i'm happy too do best offer to help someone out if moneys tight, but the lowest i can go is 500US for everything otherwise i'm literally robbing myself!

    • 9" wheels are a little too wide for a RWD 32. They can fit. People have put R33 GTR wheels on 32s for years and years. But they are a very tight squeeze. This has been known for about 30 years. As I said - there is no difference between a 17 and an 18 in terms of what will fit. The rolling diameter needs to stay about the same as stock - not very much larger. If you increase that, you will start to have problems. If you increae rolling diamater at the same time as yo increase width, you will have problems earlier. as 9" wheels are pushing the boundaries already, you would need to be careful with tyre choice. I would put 8.5s on the front of mine, but would expect problems with 9s.

    • Diagnostic flow for a code 21 says check signal at the ECU pins, on a voltmeter of some kind it should read 0.1V at idle, 0.12V cranking, 0.15-0.25V at 2000 rpm. Check each coil such that +1, -3 is infinite or very high resistance, -3, +2 should do the same. (-1, +3), (+3, -2), (+1, -2), and (-1, +2) should all be somewhere between 0 ohms and high resistance. If you trace the path from the coil pin all the way back to the ECU in the diagram the resistance you measure at the coil vs connected to the harness should be pretty much the same.
    • I have an elite 2500 running an adapter harness on an rb25de neo r34. I took the butterfly out and removed all that junk. But I also went Plus+t at the same time. The butterfly thing works in reverse to the boost solenoid on the Gtt if that makes sense
    • yeh they are 235/45/17 up front and 255/40/17 in the rears. I still didn't get my answer if i can fit a 18x9 up front. I want to get 4 of this and see if they will fit before committing as they didn't see an 18x8 as an option but there is a 18x9.5 also.   Enkei RS05-RR 18x9 35mm ET 5x114.3 75.0 Bore Matte Gunmetal Wheel
