can't agree with you more Grim .... I am willing to bet our meticulously maintained cars can stop a HELL of a lot quicker from even 60km/h - 0 than most average rust buckets (nearly 2 ton Falcoons and Commondores) can from 50km/h - 0.

Ban low performance drivers and cars, rather than our beautifully built and engineered Jap cars, whose safety standards outstrip the Aussie built competition by a margin so wide it's not even funny!

Juust great... in a few more years the speed limit will be 30kms an hour everywhere, ..... why dont i just walk to work..

Id probably get defected for my hand bag!!

ROFLMAO - your confusing the SAPOL with the fashion police...lol

Its a bit ironic, these beaurocratic (fark that was a big work, I need rest now.........) law makers were in their 20s during the 70s, (anybody seen the insurance adds on TV lately?) it was all about drugs, sex and rock and roll - and protests. A hugely rebellious era, where it was a requirement to challenge the system - now these are the onese that strip freedom off the average person at an ever increasing rate.

HMMMMMMMMMMM

Just thought i might add that SOME ppl shouldn't bitch about the system when they abuse it them selve hehehehehehehehe

Not pointing the finger at any one in particular hehehehehe.

I hope SHE knows who i'm talking about :slap:

Just a few complaints.

- I really am sick and tired of having to hit the re-circ button on the climate control to stop the stench of the bomb driving in front.

- Pulling up to a set of lights to hear rear brakes grinding metal on metal.

- Looking at the cars tyres in front only to see baldy's.

- Broken tail light lenses.

- One blown head light so the owner thinks its ok to use their hi-beams instead.

- Drivers that have no manners at all. Not curtious.

If you can't afford to maintain a car then it is simple. You shouldn't own one.

Catch public transport.

The Dob in a Driver campaign is now operational.

Maybe its time we start flooding them with calls regarding truly un-road worthy cars?

I hate to say it though.

All of my previous cars have been lowered. When they wern't lowered they never attracted any attention unless I did some thing wrong.

As soon as I lowered them .. pulled over cops walking around the car, poping the bonnet etc.

I have to say the same about the Skyline. I havn't lowered it. Same thing the 'kunstables' (like that word) don't bat an eye lid.

Well erm... only one has when he heard the stocker BOV makes its noise. Thank god for peak hour traffic and large trucks to hide my movements, he was a man on a mission. :P

Bit off topic but.. I was almost cleaned up big time last week.

I was picking up the other half in town at the end of Hindley street on King William near the nation bank. There is a small driveway type road that has loading zones between 9am-5pm. I was reversing out slowly as it is a blind driveway due to bus shelters, taxi rank etc.

All the traffic was stopped filling all lanes except for the very left lane that merges after the Hindley street traffic lights. I started to reverse out, the arse end was sticking approx 1/4 in to the inside lane when I saw the flash of a white VT commodore flypast. He would have had to be doing 60-70km/h kicking it back up the inside lane where I was pulling out. I honestly do not know how he didn't hit me.

If he had of hit me I would have spun around basically on the spot cleaning up people that at the time were walking around the front of the car on the foot path.

I felt the car sway as he want past it was that damn close. People around me looked stunned and flinched as he flew past.

    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
    • I checked spark on all cylinders and they all visually have spark with the plug pulled and grounded, but plug 1 is the only one that fouled. This was a running swap that blew up and was rebuilt by a machine shop, put a new wiring specialties harness and did all gaskets, studs, and bolts while it was out.  compression is 135-150 across all cylinders. Aside from that from my understanding with the z32 ecu and maf the car should start regardless. The wiring for TPS and the dual 02 sensor/ dual knock sensor stuff shouldn’t actually stop the car from starting or even running well, (just slightly rich)  they just give fault codes. Car supposedly is supposed to start as long as you have z32 afm and ecu with the nistune base map and that’s info coming from a well known and trusted tuner who does a lot with SR/RB (Rsenthalpy). After more trouble shooting today where I’m at right now is that the cas is sending signal to the injectors they click while spinning the rotor, Fuel pressure is now set at 43psi, all cylinders have good compression and all of the plugs looked great (just wet with fuel) except for cylinder 1 which was very black (cylinder 1 has 150psi compression). all of the coils generate spark if pulled out and grounded out on the head. On the fuel pump car just pops into the exhaust. On starting fluid car will fire off. Hard to tell if all cylinders are firing off but definitley a couple. sounds like all of them but it’s only for 3-5 seconds hard to tell.
    • Final update!!! Got the front bar fitted and sprayed and all sorted now. My cutouts worked great and the indicators aren’t just falling off. 😂
    • Is this a brand new LSD? if so, have you followed any break/bed in procedure for it? Usually involves heaps of figure 8 patterns, a fluid flush.
