Hey guys,

Was thinking of purchasing some new rims for the car and like the Gramlights.

Does anyone have any idea on the offsets i should be looking at..........17x9 either a +12 or +22 offset is available. From what i have read its my understanding that a +12 offset would give a larger dish than a +22. Or have i got my thinking all wrong????

Would like a little bit more dish effect at the rears.

Car sits a little lower, perhaps 15mm but that would be it. I have the crappy g4 adjustables also.

Basically I dont want the tyres or rims to be hanging out the guards as seen in the black 32gtst photo below.

I would prefer it to look the way my car is now........see below

Well to get nice fitment on a 32gtr you would usually get +22 which and a gtr has bigger guards than a gtst. So if you were to get +12 then I'd say on a gtst you would require some guard work to get them not to scrub at a minimum they would probably poke. anyway go here

www.rimtuck.com - and search for your car and you can see photos of skylines with 17x9 and different offsets to get an idea of how they might fit.

hope that helps

old thread, but how did you go? i think if you want your new wheels to fit like ones in the second photo u will need an even higher offset than +22.

hey mate yeah just got the money sorted so ill be buying them really soon. pity though cos i was after more feedback here, plenty of people have a lot to say bout random stuff but when asked something a little more technical it seems no one wants to answer.
