you talk about cheesy then suggest bright colours..doesnt add up birds.

Also black doesnt match with skyline platsics, better of with a dark flat grey.

Nothing wrong with any shades of grey on white or black,

Plus, Leather says luxury, a skyline is a luxury sports car so luxury colours will work fine, too many people try to sport up skylines. I think a classy looking luxury skyline will attract alot less attention from the fuzz than a sported up one with bright flashy seats.

More euro style skylines I reckon, I'm tired of ricers..Your car is the perfect example Birds, it would look better done in a luxury style than sported up.

Anyway to each his own I guess , thats just my opinion :)

Sly333, go have a look at some new cars that are white and see what colour leather they use, the new GT fords have some nice colours schemes goin on, and some of the new euros have awesome interiors

Black works with anything and everything, hence it's the most widely used colour for leather in any car. Grey leather only works in luxury sedans like Mercedes! A white sports car is a bright colour...it needs a bright contrast...ideally black, given black and white work so well as a colour scheme (and I'm not a Collingwood supporter btw). But if you don't dig black, bright primary colours will work. It's just done frequently wrong - people go overboard and make their WHOLE interior that colour, which does look cheesy. If it's just the seats and maybe some door cards, you'll get away with it. Hence many sports cars with leather options tend to come with black or bright coloured leather.

And Skylines are far from luxury sports cars, you trippin homie! It's a two door coupe designed to be driven during the week and tracked on the weekend. I'm tired of rice too, but trying to make this car what it isn't will just result in fail, both aesthetically and functionally. There was a time when leather said luxury, but now it is loose/soft leather on big sofa seat that says luxury. Tight/firm leather trimmed on supportive "hold you in your place" seat is very much accepted as sports with a touch of prestige/expense.

Agree to disagree!?

The 2012 R35 has some nice looking leather. Maybe a bit much for an r33 to pull off, but these are the least tacky colours i could find. I know you don't want black but as birds said its popular for a reason.

1. Aqua Grey + GT Black upper

2. Ruhr White + Black upper

3. R-Red + Black upper

4. Caramel beige + Black upper

5. Espresso Brown + Black upper

6. Shadow grey + Black upper

7. Black on Black

how do you find the quality of those ebay covers, they are definately good value, i was considering them just cause one of mine standard covers has ripped.

alcantra looks shit hot but it doesnt wear well and can stain, i wouldnt use it on a car I was going to use daily its too high maintenance..

Cant fault them, have had them for almost a year now in my daily and they havnt faded or ripped or anything.

How did u go about fitting them and what is the quality like of those seat covers??

Fitted them myself with a big needle and alot of time and patience haha, i love the feel of them and they are still like new, best money i spent on the car.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
