AkEaKe
This is my friend's question. Which one is better??? Many tuners decide to change their cars' meter from airflow (Hot wire) to map sensor because they claim that the map sensor can accurately measure the air flow going to the manifold more than the airflow meter. Moreover, they claim that the hot wire often malfunction. However, many luxury brands or many models still use airflow meter (hot wire). So, I'm confused which one is better. Can you explain me this problem??? Regards, Supornsak M. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/36642-airflow-meter-vs-map-sensor/ Share on other sites

There is no debate. AFM is better for a road car, or even a lightly tuned road car. Mario.
