Hey guys got myself a 31 with forged motor and a whole load of other stuff, kinda looks like crap atm but with a good few months of TLC and upgrades

this will be an awsome car.

currently a stock 1990 Aus del R31 body, (except the carppy rims)

Specs on the current motor

Rebuilt by Phil Collier himself, at Collier engines in Adelaide

Forged pistons, standard size (forgot brand ROSS i think?)

ACL race series bearings

450cc injectors

nisstune computer

adjustable fuel reg

front mount cooler

multi layered steel head gasket

decked block

full balance

bored out throttle body

turbo cam

3 inch mandrel bend turbo back exhaust with high flow cat, custom dump all 3 inch

lightened fly wheel

external waste gate

garret to4e top mount turbo

ported head, 3 angle valve job

I have big plans for this to be an awsome low budget time attack car, and will hav the build posted up soon in the builds section with more photos!

well im looking at doing a 25/30 or a 26/30 build depends on what i find thats cheaper lol,

I've read u shouldnt rev RB's past 7000 so im looking for mid range power and really intense handling

Im a mechanic myself so alot of the work will be done backyard styles, but still done properly! :whistling:

An s13 front end conv to get better handling there, r32 steering rack, not 100% sure on what can be done at the rear, but i need waaay bigger wheels with billet axles

and some kind of unbreakable diff ( more research needed before i make a dec on that side)

but yea will hope it can do 1:10 at LALA, lol my driving force is i was told its impossible without spending 50k and even harder in a 31.....so im gonna prove em wrong lol :domokun:

    • I like they don't raise their hands into the air when they shift their sequential boxes, seems to be a thing here in Australia lol...
    • I'm not normally one for posting random videos, but I thought we'd all appreciate the honesty about how broken our cars tend to be lol. Genuine skyline life here.
    • New CAS just turned up from NZ Wiring. Looks like a nice bit of gear.  So, yeah. Triggered, bro. Realised I may as well do the cam belt while mucking about with it so will order one of them.
    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
