Battery Light

This just started to happen last night.

Car starts from a cold start and hot start with the battery light on. Light doesn't go away until car starts moving and then oil presure starts to clime. At idle oil pressure is low (around 1).

Battery seems fine and Oil is on high. Idle is a little ruff as well - not stalling just all over the place. What should I do?

Sounds like the alternator has decided to pack it in. I'd get a check on the battery to make sure it definately isn't low and needs replacing, otherwise the alternator isn't charging it properly and will either need a new unit or reconditioning. Do your dash lights go dim when you try to turn the car on? Anyway hope that helps.

The battery seems to have plenty of charge and starts the car perfectly with one turn.

get a voltmeter and measure the voltage at the battery between + & - when the car is on.

It should be 14v or close to 14, if not u have aproblem with alternator
