Jeremy93
Hey ya'll, recently line has been struggling from around 600 -2500 RPM, after that rev range, it pulls fine, I went down to a local performance shop and they say it might be the fuel regulator, I was wondering, has anyone else had this problem? It's a series 1 R33 with only 86xxx on the odo. Any feed back would be amazing. cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/375513-low-rev-range-struggle/ Share on other sites
DVS JEZ
Disconnect the 02 sensor located on the dump pipe of the turbo. Try this and let us know Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/375513-low-rev-range-struggle/#findComment-5989288 Share on other sites
Jeremy93
Disconnect the 02 sensor located on the dump pipe of the turbo. Try this and let us know Tried this and it didn't work, I also forgot to mention that the fuel line from the regulator to the rail feels as though it's pulsating, is it worth replacing a few of the lines or removing them and checking for blockages? DVS JEZ
Get an AFR test done on the dyno with a fuel flow gauge. May be a pump issue Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/375513-low-rev-range-struggle/#findComment-5990240 Share on other sites
jeffworld2
Or a decent vacum leak, if it wont idle but runs if you hold the accelerator down a bit you've probably popped a boost controller or bov etc hose Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/375513-low-rev-range-struggle/#findComment-5991137 Share on other sites
Jeremy93
It still idles fine but as soon as I touch the accelerator it starts to struggle up till said rpm.
