Sukh
So i'm in the process of stripping the interior to get the whole thing redone in leather and ultrasuede. Got down to the dash and now i'm stuck. The gauge cluster is a bitch to get out! unplugged the speedo just about jimmied it clear of the dash and now I need to unplug the rest. All plugs look east to do except this black round one with loads of wires to it. There are 2 on the cluster. I tried pulling but its not coming loose and I dont want to force it in fear or breaking something. Anyone had experience with this? Ghostrider
It just pulls out in my R30's. It's not a simple pull out due to friction off all the plugs & I think from memory it has a securing clip as well that needs to be pressed as it's pulled. At the end of each wire is a round pin about 2mm in diameter, so lots of holding force. coupe72001
Just rip that sucker off. From memory it's only tight due to the large number of pins. Work around the base slowly with a stiff plastic blade if you can. Sukh
Got it off thanks guys. Got a plastic screw driver and slowly took it off. Now finally the dash can come off!
