ACTIVE-LSD
try yellowpages.com.au and type "panel beaters". give some shops near you a call and start getting some quotes. 3.5k isn't a bad price for a in and out job. goodluck Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381523-respray/#findComment-6084751 Share on other sites
buzz350
3 and a half sounds quite cheap, but it also sounds like a window in job, and everything is taped up, i dont think and of the doorjams would be done either or the engine bay so u would still be stuck with the yellow paint being on the inside also. (not sure if they quoted to do the doorjams also but be careful) if your looking for a decent job, windows out and door jams done be prepared to pay around the 7-8 thousand mark as an approximate, this can include any dents u may have in the vehicle, this still wouldnt include the engine bay tho unless the engine is already out. all prices do vary from shop to shop so go around and see who offers what and see if u can work out a good deal by working of the shops to see who can do the best for you. hope this helps in your search for a new paint job (if u have any Q's feel free to pm me) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381523-respray/#findComment-6085693 Share on other sites

JDMGTR17
$3.5k wont include door jambs, but you shouldn't really need them done if you're keeping the car the same colour. These areas don't fade as there's no sunlight to bleach the paint. As buzz350 said, you'd be looking at around $8k for a colour change. There's heaps more stuffing around in removing and refitting panels/doors/glass etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/381523-respray/#findComment-6087563 Share on other sites
Sinista32
Just for refrence I picked up my 32 last week with a single change in colour. I paid $10k (door jambs done, windows out and NOT the engine bay). But being in the ACT you get the high cost on most things.. Captive market without to many shops you would take your car too.
