so when you know a car is going to be stuck a hoist for a few days, instead of rolling it off you just cancel all your other jobs and say can't do your job mate theres a car on the hoist :/

For me it's hard push a car out as i have very little room to stash a car outside. With the one stuck on there last week as the box and half the front of the car was off it would have been a pain to push around anyways. The job i pushed back was a clutch for a guy who was happy to wait the extra couple of days cos i gave him the notice.

I try and not do jobs that take ages to do, g/box building wise i try and stick to manuals as they are easier than autos. Same as diffs they are nice and easy. Anything major i try and stay away from unless the customer is happy waiting the month wait. As i only do the mechanical stuff on the side of my other full-timeish job i tend to stick away from anything major and only do day stuff or g/box diff work

Hi All,

In response to the original post I went down to Xspeed today to discuss the situation today with Hanson. Hanson was extremely forthcoming and showed me evidence of all the invoices in regard to the goods purchased, and then sent to the UK as was requested. So it certainly appears that Xspeed held up to all there side of the agreement.

This is not to say that the OP is incorrect in saying he hasn't recieved his goods, but they certainly the goods were sent a long time ago. I believe that there may be some misunderstanding here which is best resolved between the OP and the workshop, and not on an open forum where alegations may have negative impact.

If the OP has any issues with getting correspondance to the workshop then please feel free to CC me at [email protected] and I will ensure that the workshop responds.

Regards

Paul

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
