R34 25Gt Engine Light

hey guys,

my car r34 gt coupe, for the past two weeks whenever I start the car the engine light comes on. I took to it to a mechanic to test the ecu and the error message that came up was primary ignition circuit. thats all the mechanic told me and said it would be fine now as he reset the ecu. the next day the engine light came up as soon as I turned the car on! occasionally the engine vibrates lightly when the car is started and miss fires a bit to.

could anyone please refer me to a good mechanic around south eastern melbourne that would actually help me with the problem? and also how much im looking around paying?

Probably a failing coilpack

engine light on the 34's is often triggered by dying coilpacks. if the ignition circuit fault code came up then it's almost certain that you have at least 1 coilpack that's on it's way out

I've got a R34 25gt sedan had the same problem,

U was told by a mechanic it was the oxy sensor but I took it to two other places n codes came up as coil packs.. I'd suggest getting them done first it solved my engine light problem..

Oh n I'd suggest splitfires if to costly try n get another set of stock same as whats in there possibly?
