Hi all,

I have tried to search for this but can not find anything.

I currently have a stock turbo with a bleed valve set up at 10psi (R33 gts-t), this has been in place for over 3 years and never had a problem until the last month or so.

Whe I accelerate form low revs the boost sits at 10psi - perfect, however when I accelerate from say 4000rpm boost spikes very quickly to 13 psi and then back to 10psi.

What is the most cost effective way to fix this?

Should I source a new actuator or a new spring?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Rob

Ps. I do not want electronic boost control yet.

Thanks for the reply,

So you don't think it has anything to do with the actuator or spring?

I have taken the bleed valve off already and cleaned it (cause I thought it was the bleed valve as well). Still has the same problem.

Rob

i had a bleed valve that did the exact same thing.. when i take off from around 3-5000rpm it use to spike to 1bar..

i was using a turbosmart dual stage bc... it sucked.

i swapped to an old style turbosmart bc and it was perfect...

try a diff bc off one of your mates maby?
