Car must go ASAP and is at a rediculous price because of this. I will be relocating to Brisbane early in 2012 and the car cannot come. This car was a project I have been working on for the past 5 years. This car has had so much time and love put into it and has been built from the ground up by Unique Autosports in Western Sydney. No short cuts have been taken on this project and the car has been well looked after since day 1. Car is always garaged and never thrashed or raced. Over $45,000 (have all receipts) has been spent getting this car to where it is. No time wasters please.

I have owned this car in its current state for 2 and a half years now, and it was a completely stock rolling shell when purchased with 110,000kms on the clock. Before the engine was dropped into the current shell, I had the engine built for my old 1991 Black GTST. I have put 30,000kms on the rebuilt motor. Car is now rarely driven and spends most of its days in the garage. The car is currently unregistered due to it not being driven but has been fully engineered so new owner will have minimal problems with the authorities.

Serviced every 5,000kms with Motul Chrono 300V Engine Oil. All other fluids are high temp Elf/Redline and have been changed regularly. Engine currently has a very mild tune and puts out 230rwkw at 15 psi (A LOT more potential with further work and more boost)

  • 11 months later...

Ok car is still for sale due to my self being interstate for the last 12 months. Im back in Sydney for a limited time and I really would like to sell before I leave so I can close this chapter and move on. Car is currently at my parents place and has been garaged for the last 12 months. Still no rego and as you can imagine she is running a bit rough after no action for a year. All fluids have been changed and price is negotiable. Looking for a no drama, quick no fuss sale as I dont have time for dreamers and speculators.

ATTENTION!!!

Unfortunately due to lack of interest and some rediculous offers on the car I have regretably chosen to wreck and part out the entire complete car. I have loans to pay off and cannot keep the car so wrecking/parting is the most lucrative way for me to get back some decent money on the thousands and thousands that went into the car.

After lunch I shall start pulling apart the big ticket items and they will be available to purchase in another topic in 'for sale parts/accessories' which I will link with this topic. Pics and prices will be listed. At this stage I will be pulling apart entire engine bay, exhaust, wheels and aftermarket interior items. When something is available it will be posted. Stock interior, drivetrain and suspension will be left on the car where I will attempt to sell the rolling shell as a complete item (will suit project or drifter/trackcar with the quality item that will be left on it?) but however if I cannot find a buyer and a reasonable price I will pull all of the remaining items off the shell and sell individually (prefer not to)

Please list any EOI on any parts in this thread until I start the new one. Feel free to ask anything you like!I have reciepts for most off the shelf items.

Keep your eyes on this thread as there are some high quality, excellent condition parts that must go. Prices will be negotiable to a certain point and I am willing to post/courier items AT BUYERS EXPENSE. Car is currently located in the blue mountains (20 mins west of Penrith, NSW) but in the next few months will be relocated to Brisbane to sell whatever is left of the car so get in quick

BOV off, FMIC plus all piping off, turbo off, manifold off, dump pipe off, ext wastegate off, exhaust off, wheels off, front bar off, gtr reo bar off.

Will put all this stuff up in a topic in the correct forum soon. just an update on what available

cheers

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
