I ran over a dead roo this morning on my way to work out at Bungendore a bit after 0500. Luckily the thing was already dead. I hope I haven't done too much damage to things under my Stagea.

The bits of roo stink like all hell too. Time to get the gerni out & clean under the car I think, and I only polished the car on Thursday. At least I have no panel damage.

Stupid marsupials, stay off the road.

I managed to do the same thing on the Monaro near the gaol one night. Unfortunately for me one of the more solid parts of the corpse got the better of my muffler, bashing up the underside of it. Still works fine though lol

Under the Stagea looks ok now I can see under it during the day. A lot of blood and fur under my car, at least nothing looks damaged as far as I can tell. Off to the car wash tonight after work to gerni the remains of the roo away.

    • You can literally put in as much WMI as it takes to quench the combustion totally (and then back it off a little, obviously), and it will keep making more and more power. The power comes from the cooling effect of the water (and the meth) and the extra fuel (the meth, which also has massive octane). It is effectively exactly like running E85. One might be slightly better than the other, but they are damn close. But with either you can lean on the boost or the timing (or both) waaaay more than with just petrol and the results are similar. Here's the first thing I googled for an anecdotal bit of evidence. Can't access the attachment without being a gold member, but it is there for the getting if able to, or searched up elsewise perhaps. https://www.hpacademy.com/forum/general-tuning-discussion/show/wmi-vs-e85/
    • Dang, those BBS are so nice!
    • Yeah it is wild how much wider the Yokohama A050 in 255/40R17  vs Yokohama AD09 in 255/40R17 sits on the 17x9 +22 considering its even from the same brand and adjacent product family
    • Would love to see some examples of WMI making the same as E85. Only thing I've ever found is this one.  Which suggests WMI is not worth much at all.
    • And now the washer bottle looks like an orphan. You're going to have to spend money on a wrinkle black painted fabbed ally one of those. Oh, and the brake MC res. That won't look any good after you've gotten rid of the washer bottle. You going to need to go back to work to keep up with this?
