Looking into opening a business, just had a few questions about the lease, and general questions one would have with opening in restaurant/cafe type business.

The lawyer would be to handle the lease if your starting your own business wouldn't it? If your buying an existing one you'd also want someone to thoroughly check the books ie an accountant

Commercial leases are typically straight forward as the tenant pays for rent & outgoings fit out etc you'd want a rent free start up period and depending what and where your going what promotion the centre will be doing to attract customers etc

Yeh, i understand that whole concept. But the main reason was cause there is going to be a redevelopment of the building, and i had a couple of questions regarding the contract.
