Oil specs on front grill/bonnet

Hi guys, I have a wierd issue here... I've noticed that I am getting specs of oil on my front grill and up the front half of my bonnet. I do a lot of freeway driving so it might be from other cars, but im not convinced. I had a white car prior and never noticed it, but how would oil from my engine make it onto my own front grill etc??? Can anyone give me some pointers what to look for in the engine bay to make sure there is nothing wrong with my engine. I haven't had a chance to pop the bonnet yet as i am at work, but will give it clsoer inspection when i get home.

yeah ive ha that happen to me just once though.

it was a drip or two of oil on top oof my front bar.

Make sure you haven't overfilled your sump with oil. if you do, the pressure becomes too great and oil can spurt out of the top of the engine. my friend had this problem in her 626.
