Hey Guys,

I'm selling my 1994 GTR R32 Vspec II (Genuine, confirm it on Nissan Fast) as it is time to put a deposit on a house. There only about 1300 made in the world which make this model very rare, comes with additional factory upgrade from a Non Vspec R32 such as BBS rims, Bigger brakes, wider tyres etc.

Colour: White

KMs: 89xxxx on the odometer

Location: South west Sydney

Price: 15.9K ono

I'm going straight to the point with car details, PM if you are interested.

Interior conditions: I would say the car interior is in pretty good shape for ages however there are few wear and tears on it, such as the clips where it holds the gear box leather is snap off, the dashboard has a 5-7cm bubble wear on the passenger size (due to the sun), driver side there about a 3mm hole on the door trim nothing major. Beside that everything inside the car is clean.

Exterior Conditions: The paint conditions is average, definitely has seen better days, however a detail of the car will help to bring back the exterior alive. From what I can tell there is no fade in the paint, just need a good polish and wax. From standing distance car looks pretty neat, but upon a close up you will see the car will require some detailing.

Mechanical Conditions: Car has a slight miss fire at down low, i have replaced Iridium spark plug, yellow jackets coil pack, water system hoses and radiator replaced, manifold gasket replaced with Nitto, however I havn't touch the fuel side, so thinking it could be the injectors. Car is driveable and can be driven daily, just need time to diagnosis the slight mis fire (is slight nothing massive). Minor boost leak, haven't have time to troubleshoot that as it just happen recently after the water system hoses and radiator was replaced.

As you can see this CAR WILL REQUIRE SOME ATTENTION (not immediate as it is can be driven as a daily, no problem) , so please don't think it is going to be a perfect conditions car when coming to inspect it.

This is why the price is been advertise for 15.9k, basically in the market a GTR R32 Vspec II goes for about 22-30k depending on conditons which I have factor in for the sale price, which allows you to use the rest of the money in fixing/restoring/modding it.

Pictures: Will upload it later.

Gday

Is this stock? Or what mods has it had done to it?

Do you have any service history or documents from Japan such as auction papers to substantiate the mileage?

Cheers

Matt

Looks like nice car.

Have you got comp readings?

Slight misdirected COULD be low compression.

Not saying it is, but its a quick test, and could give the new owner piece of mind.

Glws.

Interested in straight swap for 2010 yamaha r1 maybe?

Hi Luke,

thanks mate.

My mechanic has done a compressions test the reading is 120 -125psi for all 6 (a little low, not sure if it is cold or warm reading though) but was told by the mechanic this could be due to thicker headgasket and not to worry, as the engine looks like it have been pull apart and rebuild before (not by previous owner, probably in Japan) Leak down test was done by my mechanic and it came back all good.

hope this help other who interested in it.

Dont have my motorbike license :( and looking for a cash sale.

Thanks for the offer though.

Anthony

    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
    • See if you can thermal epoxy a heatsink or two onto it?
    • The other problem was one of those "oh shit we are going to die moments". Basically the high spec Q50s have a full electric steering rack, and the povo ones had a regular hydraulic rack with an electric pump.  So couple of laps into session 5 as I came into turn 2 (big run off now, happily), the dash turned into a christmas tree and the steering became super heavy and I went well off. I assumed it was a tyre failure so limped to the pits, but everything was OK. But....the master warning light was still on so I checked the DTCs and saw – C13E6 “Heat Protection”. Yes, that bloody steering rack computer sitting where the oil cooler should be has its own sensors and error logic, and decided I was using the steering wheel too much. I really appreciated the helpful information in the manual (my bold) POSSIBLE CAUSE • Continuing the overloading steering (Sports driving in the circuit etc,) “DATA MONITOR” >> “C/M TEMPERATURE”. The rise of steering force motor internal temperature caused the protection function to operate. This is not a system malfunction. INSPECTION END So, basically the electric motor in the steering rack got to 150c, and it decided to shut down without warning for my safety. Didn't feel safe. Short term I'll see if I can duct some air to that motor (the engine bay is sealed pretty tight). Long term, depending on how often this happens, I'll look into swapping the povo spec electric/hydraulic rack in. While the rack should be fine the power supply to the pump will be a pain and might be best to deal with it when I add a PDM.
    • And finally, 2 problems I really need to sort.  Firstly as Matt said the auto trans is not happy as it gets hot - I couldn't log the temps but the gauge showed 90o. On the first day I took it out back in Feb, because the coolant was getting hot I never got to any auto trans issues; but on this day by late session 3 and then really clearly in 4 and 5 as it got hotter it just would not shift up. You can hear the issue really clearly at 12:55 and 16:20 on the vid. So the good news is, literally this week Ecutek finally released tuning for the jatco 7 speed. I'll have a chat to Racebox and see what they can do electrically to keep it cooler and to get the gears, if anything. That will likely take some R&D and can only really happen on track as it never gets even warm with road use. I've also picked up some eye wateringly expensive Redline D6 ATF to try, it had the highest viscosity I could find at 100o so we will see if that helps (just waiting for some oil pan gaskets so I can change it properly). If neither of those work I need to remove the coolant/trans interwarmer and the radiator cooler and go to an external cooler....somewhere.....(goodbye washer reservoir?), and if that fails give up on this mad idea and wait for Nissan to release the manual 400R
