r33 antenna

just a quick one, can anyone tell me how to remove the aerial and motor for the antenna from an r33? i'm planning on fixing my broken antenna (won't go up or down automatically) sometime in the next few days. ta.

use something pointy to undo outside screw of antena and remove it----- inside the boot you will findtwo nuts on side panel-- remove those as well as one on the boot floor, then remove the jack carry rack.---- next remove two studs in the same area and remoce the antena and motor ------ disconnect antena coax and wireing plug. the replacement is a reversal of the above.

yeah it is a bitch of a job. If you replace it dstylez let me know the brand and model number and how much u paid for it. I took mine out to find it completely ****ed.

I dont use the main antenna. I forgot to plug in the antenna wire up to my head deck on install (idiot!!!! :-}) but it seems that the one in the rear windshield works just fine so i dont need the main one. Looks better too...
