Hey, iv had my car for a while now(r34 gt non turbo) and wanting some coilovers but don't really understand them lol

anyway iv found a set of tein Super Streets for sale with the spring rates 4/4kg obviously the number is low but is that ideal for everyday driving? the wrecker told me my springs where on there way? so thought i would look for something close to stock.

thanks any input would be great :)

Very soft, they will be fine on the street. I've got 6kg front 8kg rear and they are fine, could even deal with going a bit harder. When you say 4/4, I assume you're meaning 4kg front and 4kg rear? Not sure how that would upset the handling, usually the front is harder to deal with the weight of the engine... I'll let someone with more experience answer that.

If you have a GT though, just make sure you aren't buying coilovers for a GTT. The rear mounts are different. GT's effectively use R33 GTST suspension.
