hey guys,

how do i get rid of the yellow tint on the headlights?

the cars passenger door doesnt work on central locking , what could be the problem?

Anyone knows a mechanic in SA who can fix the radio frequency problem?

I an a 23 year old paying 1800 for insurance with SGIC , any other cheaper insurance companies?

i used RE-PO paint doctor on my head lights and they came up like new

You need to replace your door actuators - about $250 each shipped from the USA is the cheapest. If you replace just the drivers side actuator it MAY fix the problem. I need to do mine too.

Go see George and Theo at GT Autosound Glynde - they have worked on V35 stereos before.

I pay $1,200 with Just Car Insurance (and that is a higher than normal premium as I use the car for work, plus have $5k worth of wheels/stereo/extras listed) - but I am rating 1, live in a safe suburb and the car is securely garaged at night. All of those things impact your premium.

As for the headlights, i did mine yesterday and used Turtle Wax Lens Restorer from Autobarn for $33 comes with a full kit that has clear instructions and works very well as you can see. I'm with RACQ insurance and pay upwards of $2k with road side assist comp insurance and some other things. Everything else wouldn't have a clue! goodluck

im 24 and i pay 1.5k with NRMA with a value of 20k on the car, i am driving an auto V35 tho so only worth around that on the + side i bought it for 19k

NRMA insured mine for $24k, even though I only brought it for $19k.. I did tell them my purchase price.. $760 per year.. 37yr with clean license and accident history.
