I couldn't 'feel' when the rear end of the mustang or viper would or wouldn''t let loose, usually forza is predictable in its handling. It could be a demo specific physics to ensure anyone could have fun................. maybe.

The vibration isn't anywhere near strong enough, thats why you can't feel the rear end come loose.

Like I said before, there is a huge uproar about it on forzamotorsport.net so I see it being patched by the time the game comes out.

GF bought me the special edition for my bday, may have to take another members advice after she bought me tickets to an AFL final and 'wife her'.

dont do it.

as soon as the ring is on the finger it all stops.

Picked it up, yet to play it though. Did anyone not get a book inside their cover or did I just get ripped

Where did you get it from? I know JB are stupid and allow people to return games with codes that cannot be reused.

Yer it was from jb although the case was sealed. This happened to a friend of mine except there was nothing in the case at all, he got it exchanged luckily.

Mine wasn't the special edition or anything so I don't know if that matters

Never bought a game that didn't come with the little booklet... tho if games started coming out without them it wouldn't be surprising really... just have a link to a pdf version on the net and all modern phones can read them easily.

wont be getting it for at least a few weeks. really busy with other stuff.

i dont understand my thinking though, im spending a ridiculous amount of time watching videos of the game on youtube.

Question: are there body kits like on FM? i was watching a review that had a quick 2 second clip of the upgrading screen where it only had the performance upgrade options (engine/suspension/driveline/conversion) but didn't see any aero section.

been pumping it out all night.

pro's

engine/suspension/aero mods seem to be the same

can import vinyls from fm4

money is ridculously easy to make and it seems discounts are easy to get aswell (i already have over 50% off all upgrades)

supra sounds hot as f**k on boost.

roundabout

sliding around city streets is fun

cons

there are no r32/r33/s13/s14's only 370z's, s15's r34's and other nissans.

skyline still sounds shit imo

slighty dissapointed in the map for not having any tight mountain/canyon runs, but it is america so i suppose it reflects roads over there.

only one roundabout (that i could find/see on the map)

no tuning unless i havent unlocked it yet but i doubt it

not as many cars as fm4 but it was expected

could just be me but nightime doesnt seem to last long and i also feel traffic isnt dynamic either (eg less cars at nice wouldve been nice to have)

nowhere to really max a car in a straight line

seems to be a few more cons than pros but the fact is i basically played for almost 5 hours straight so it has to be enjoyable enough to pull that off

edit: also dont think you can do drivetrain conversions anymore, well atleast on the 34 you cant

Edited by drunkn snail

So spent all of yesterday playing, just about to start pink wristband races.

Engine conversions are still in.

Drivetrain conversions are out, (who actually wants an AWD R34?).

Matte paint, cool.

I didn't get a booklet in mine (sealed LCE).

Barn finds are cool.

Seem's I need to buy a Supra...

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
