Could be something different and is of interest!! Nice call with the road behaviour too!! If there is updates etc and you havent seen us post in there make sure we get a reminder

So let me see if I got this right

Weight reduction stage one = having a piss

Weight reduction stage two = having a piss and a dump

Is that right?

They are stage 2 & 3, most importantly you must remove the boot carpet! Best bang for buck modification so ive heard :P

Ah okay

So what is it if I remove the back seats as well?

If you go to that level you will need an ANDRA license and parachute from what i hear!

think of the welds on your intake manifold :|

and your floor pan falling out (guess its more weight reduction though)

is that like stage 4? strip the car down to the bare chassis, the motor, running gear and a drivers seat?

    • Sorry to dig up an old post, these seats do not sit inline with the steering wheel so expect them to be offset towards the door. Also they sit a lot higher than the factory seats. There is a datasheet available online that confirms this. Can also advise be careful who you purchase from if you get them from a distributor in Australia, the company I purchased from in Sydney is no longer listed as a Bride distributor and I understand why, there was zero support from them.
    • You weren't kidding about the long block, what a difference it made!! I fixed every dent almost and all of them except for one and it feels 100% smooth on the others! I just need to fix one up and put some guide coat. Thanks a lot, that was game changing and time saving.
    • I got a quote to refurbish some BBS look-alikes -best part of 2k. I had some alloys sand blasted - bad idea, in retrospect. Had to wear gloves to handle them! I had them powder coated to protect the rim. Rather than sand blasting, I recommend hydro blasting (blasted with micro-fine glass beads carried in a water stream). I had a set of TRX rims done recently for only about $200 total.
