Hello fellas,

i own a r32 gtr and I have a 16row grex oil cooler with relocation kit. Today i went to put it on, everything bolted up sweet as, but stupid me didn't think to seal the threads with anything because i thought the orings would do a good enough job. Obviously not and oil has made its way and slowly ooosinnn out. So please give some advice on what to seal the threads with , some people said plumbers tape? My dad said maybe that automotive paste stuff ( not sure on the exact name )

But please if you can help me out with a product name and possibly a brand too that would be great, i'm going redo all the fittings properly! praying for no leaks a second time round !

Thanks , advice appreciated !!

I would use Loctite thread sealant, but I come from an industrial type background rather than automotive, but this would definitely do the trick.

There is a section on this web page where you can ask them exactly what type they recommend for your application, or you can just read up on the thread sealant types and see which suits

Good luck
