Hello,

A few days ago my brother's car(hence why I'm a new user) started to develop this problem. The car is a 98 R33 GTS-T Automatic with 135,000km. Only mod is a catback exhaust.

The car is running very sluggish, with a lot of jurking. There is a loud grinding noise when accelerating, appears from about 2000rpm onwards, doesn't happen when idling though and the noise is coming from the turbo area.

Here is a video of it..

This video is just revving on the spot but it is the same while moving(if you can call it that). It would take about 10 seconds to get to 50kmph with even slower speed above that. As you can see on the factory boost guage it doesn't even get past -4.

I am suspecting that it's a faulty turbo. Can anyone give me some guidance for this?

Cheers.
