M35 Rear Vision Mirror

Hey guys,

My rear vision mirror on my windscreen has been loose since I had my windscreen replaced. Does anyone know how to remove it so I can tighten it up. Ive tryed but just cant seem to work it out. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Hey Josh,

I'm pretty sure it's tightened by a grub screw with an Allen Key/Hex Head from memory.

Have a look around the base where it meets the screen, you'll see it there but it's only tiny.

Mine was loose at one point and rattling slightly so gave it a tighten and all good now.

There's actually 2 pieces that can move; the mirror has a allen head down the middle of the arm, but there's a mid piece that slides over the mount that is glued on to the glass.

My mirror was tightened into the mid piece fine, but the mid piece was loose on the glass mount; and rattled.

Does that make sense?

I did exactly the same procedure with mine too Dale, thanks for the better explanation mate, it was a while back i did it.

It was a real pain in the backside rattle too...

Yeah makes sence. Support seems secure to glass but mirrow arm is loose so ill tighten the allen key screw tomorrow and see how it goes. Thanks guys
