Hey everyone,

After driving a commodore for the entirety of my provisional licence and hating auto i'm finally jumping into a skyline! This coming monday i'm going to be picking up a 1993 HCR32 GTS-T that's black in colour and has about 185000kms on the clock. My dream car is a gunmetal grey R32 GT-R but for now the GTS-T will do while i get used to a completely different drive (forced induction  ) and until i can afford one!

I'm picking it up off a friends friend for a pretty good price and after driving it around the block last week a couple times all i can say is i had a grin from ear to ear.

I don't have any photos now but i plan to do a proper shoot of it very soon after i get it and clean it up.

So i'll give you the details!

The current owner bought it for one track day while his car was out of action and since then has been sitting in his driveway and before that it was sitting in a garage for a few years because the old owner had lost his licence.

The good:

- It's a skyline

- Disco Potato

- There's a few gauges

- EBC

- FMIC

- 5 Stud

- Interior is in good condition

- 3" from the Cat to a 4" tip

- Sitting on white 17" Enkei RP01s

- Sunroof

- BOV

- Got it for a good price

The Bad

- HICAS

- 2 slight rust spots around the sunroof

- No A/C

- No Rego

- Slight blemishes to the paint

- When shifting hard into second it sometimes crunches and doesn't go into gear

But the current owner says he can organise the blue slip so i'm not too worried. I might have to source a standard R32 GTS-T exhaust to pass emissions though but it's sitting on standard suspension and everything else is pretty much standard except for the turbo and the EBC so i don't think it should be a big problem.

My plans with it are to first tidy it up and have it looking nice and clean with minimal exterior mods. It's my first car that i'm really going to get my hands dirty with and i'm so excited. It's going to be a steep learning curve but i think it'll be a good introduction to the import life!

Ill start a build thread when i get the car!

Thanks for reading guys!

The car is now sitting in my garage. :woot:

Having another quick look over the A/C works so that's a plus and i've already ordered a HICAS lock bar off GKTECH.

It needs new tyres and a full service and that will be done within the next couple of weeks and then it's off to get blue slipped so it can be on the road within the month.

I'll start a build thread soon when i clean it up and take some more photos of it.

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
