Shift Light Kits??

Does anyone know of any simple, build yourself, shift light kits?

I don't want a bulky 5 stage thing. I just want to mount a simple dual colour single LED in my A pillar gauge mount.

Getting sick of bouncing off the rev limiter.....Do'h.....

Silverwater Auto Services have a small simple kit, but I think it's only a single colour LED.

Jay,,,I looked for ages, but couldn't find a thing,,,,I'm thinking now I'll buy the Autometer one with the module so I don't have to use their tacho. The rev pills sound good cause I think if you use, say a 6800 or 6900 it's gives you time to shift before bouncing. I ran an R8 the other night and using 6 grand off the line, it bagged them up nicely ,,but I was on the limiter before I knew it. Took me till 3rd to grab him....

Miguel,,,do you know if the Silverwater one is adjustable?.

Yeah ndr, it's easily adjusted. You basically just rev to the point that you want it to illuminate and push the button on the control module to set it.

I'm gunna try and build it next week so I'll let you know how it goes. Looks like it should come in at around $30 or so.

It's a really small and simple cuircut (just right for my simple mind ), and it's just what I was looking for.

Give me a few weeks and I'll give you an update.

It took a while for it to come back to me, a loooong while..

If it all works out and is easy to put together, I might make up a handful for anyone on here that wants them.

But the first thing I gotta do is build one and see if it works OK..
