Depends how funky he is...OK funky show us some moves (requesting funky's star wars kid type short clips).

I don't know I should be back Saturday afternoon, but shall we bring any chicks or they will be provided :D. Basically I told you I was jetting off on Thursday but I'm hoping to do it on Friday instead and get back on Saturday.

Hey Justin,

just noticed it says "R32 GTSt Type M under your avatar :P What's the story? I thought you were going for a V35 coupe?

I getting both!!! :)

Actually, the R32 Type M will come first, I'm getting it through Troy. The V35 will come after, we're still trying to get a good one at the right price...

Dave, yeah we're almost ready to go...the GTSt is also slightly modified with a stonger clutch :(;):D, so get ready. Your going to be a popular fella in town with 3 nice cars parked in your driveway :). I do hope your driveway is big enough for 3 cars. We're also expecting a few nice scenic places to take photos ;)

No problems on parking space - my driveway can handle it, plus I have access to additional parking about 50m from my place, if you'd prefer to park there. I'm looking forward to it - the home field advantage means I'll be the car in front most of the time! :);) Which is nice since I'm driving the least powerful car! :(

A road with no traffic in Japan - the holy grail - does such a thing exist!?!? :);)

Nah, seriously - if you're prepared to wake up at some un-godly hour then we can have free run on a lot of roads. Being in the country, we don't have many bypasses and the like, but where we are, we can be in the mountain passes in 5 minutes. Most of the roads will be clear, so we'll be free to drive as we please.

I'm planning on showing you my local circuit - we might get lucky and catch some decent action. The drive there is a nice one and the circuit itself, is small, but there's usually something going off. I was there in Sunday, with several Imprezza's, Evo's (very nice and bl00dy quick IV) , plus a handful of others - hachi-roku's, silvias, R33 gtst's and a R32 GTR to name a few. I've also got several spots selected that'll give us decent backgrounds for phots - one happens to be at the Suntory Winery (which is literally behind my place)...

Mountains...ohhh maybe I should ask if I can take the S14 my mate is about to put back on the auctions...I promise not to scratch it :).

and circuits...it's going to be fun ;)

Dave, sound great mate we're also looking forward. I don't think we really need a long road as such perhaps because I think we may end up hitting the highway. I know Justin is itching to hit the highway limiter.

Oh also we need to hit the pool hall sometime during our stay :(

    • 40 grit sounds about right, to start. You make some decent cuts/damage in the coating with that, then rapdily scale up to maybe 80 and 120 for the bulk of the actual removal, then fine it off to 180 or 240 perhaps. No need to go any finer than that, and maybe no need to go even as fine as that. Wrap it on a big block and have at it. At least on the hub face.
    • Do the GKTech rear lower control arm mount relocation, and either alloy subframe inserts or very stiff subframe bushes. Traction is going to be at a premium!
    • Hello,   My name if Frederick, i'm 30 years old and I live in Belgium, Europe! I used to have a Nissan 370z daily but since I got a company car I turned that into my seattime driftcar. About 3 years ago I also wanted something older with more feel, so I got an R32 GTST with an rb26 engine. I am now getting the rb built to have around 800hp and it's close to being finished. I'm very excited for how it will drive and how driveable it will be! Regards, Fred!
    • Appreciate the insight! Talked to some local folks and they basically told me "it's not that deep." As long as the threading on the inside matches what's at the steering rack, everything else can be constructed-to-fit. There are full aftermarket kits I can use - probably better for my car overall since it's lowered.  Example: GKTech M14 Super Adjustable Inner Tie Rod Set - Nissan Skyline R32 R33 R33, 240SX, 300ZX, 350Z / Infiniti G35 M14I-TROD-2 gktM145-TROD gktM14I-TROD - Concept Z Performance (These can be packaged with their "high misalignment" tie rod ends).
