The ad sais it all but essentially there is a few parts to the event.

1 - Just Car Insurance Australian Drifting Grand Prix Top-16 Invitational
This is a exhibition competition with 16 of Australia's best drifters. They will practice and qualify during the day and the competition will be held at dusk between 6pm-8pm. The new South Circuit layout will provide smoke bellowing door-todoor battles.

2 - South Circuit Launch Bash
The South Circuit layout at Sydney Motorsport Park was never intended to be the perfect drift track, but it turned out that way, and the ARDC has now decided to allow drifting on the course, and this is the best way to celebrate. The three NSW drift clubs and ADGP have 15 spots each to invite drivers to be the first to drive the track. It's essentially an open practice, but with some of the best from NSW and around Austrlaia on track, their will be plenty of entertainment. We will also be organising various grudge matches to hold in between the ADGP Top-16 rounds, including people's choice.

If you are interested in drifting the South Circuit, you need to contact Driftmob, DriftNSW, Driving Sports or ADGP

    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
    • This thread keps giving with the OMG!
    • A quick google, and some E39 users have found pulling my sensor out/apart and cleaning it alleviates their issue. Then get the oil warning to go off, and once it is off (from the sensor saying it was unhappy) some find they can just unplug it and it is happy to just keep going now. Maybe give it a crack? If you can actually pull the sensor apart, hit it with some electrical contact cleaner.
    • Yep. In the E39 it's slightly different than the others. Honestly I'd just leave it but every time I drive the car it tells me oil is low and that just makes me check the dipstick. It is a BMW Afterall and it tries to expel it's own oil regularly.  Thankfully it's not like my E90 that has no dipstick at all so you just gotta trust it.
