Hello,

Up for sale is my 1999 JDM Factory Aero S15 which I've owned for roughly 2 years and am the second owner since import. The car has had some panel damage done to the car and although it is to the roof which a lot of people tend to run away from I've been told the repairs are not as hard as most think.

The car currently has damage to both front fenders which can easily be replaced, along with a deep scratch on one side of the bonnet though the rest of it is fine, the aero front bar unfortunately has also been damaged but is again repairable by someone knowledgeable.

There is damage to both sides of the roof along the rails but if you come to inspect in person you will see that it is nothing structural and only external panel damage, the cars still straight drives no different but can be a bit ugly on the eye close up.... Some say shes a good from far but far from good, although it still manages to turn heads the state its in.

This is all noted and the price adjusted due to the damages.

Below's the mod list which can be tweaked to help lower the price, remove shit you don't want as everyone's taste is different.

Engine

160,000 Km's (genuine at least...)

- Redline shockproof gearbox oil, Clutch replaced with Extreme HD clutch and lightened fly roughly 60,000km ago (receipts included)

- Serviced every 5-8,000km with 10-40w fully synthetic Penrite, ryco filters both fuel and oil.

- Greddy FMIC with custom piping made to reroute it next to the battery hole to save needing an engineers for an unnecessary hole, no it is not a return flow setup like arc but simply runs piping down next to the tray and under the chassy, never had it pop off or rub a hole so I'd say it's flawless. (spare stock cooler to be included)

- Greddy Profec B

- Aftermarket Dump & front pipe

- GKtech Catback system (4 months old) includes silencer to really tone down the system

- Trust Pod and intake pipe

Suspension/Wheels

- Cusco Zero2R Coilovers which are base/spring/damper adjustable(50,000km roughly) (stock s15 suspension to be included)

- 18" Drifteks (32+ish) with new n6000 tyres up front (+30mm bolt on gktech spacers up front)

- DBA Slotted rotors (30,000km) + General GT bendix pads.

Exterior/Interior

- Dmax rear duckwing

- Vertex side skirts & vertex rear bar ( have both stock rear bar and skirts spare)

- Nardi Steering wheel (factory airbar jdm wheel to be included)

- Fake defi gauge (accurate but can include factory gauge also)

- Trust gear knob

- Yashio factory copy rear tinted tail lights, full plug and play no hard wiring needed.

- New (1 month old) Alpine head unit, with front and rear speakers.

I've loved this car and still do regardless of the damages, its been a beauty to drive and only ever let me down when a coolant line to the turbo went and has been replaced with braided line, other then that it's never missed a beat, starts first time, every time. But as I am more then likely moving to remote qld island for work by march I'll have to need for the car and the ongoing costs of rego etc and have no where to store it so it's time to place it up for sale.

Any questions or anyone wanting to come inspect it feel free to call me as to arrange a time suitable, I'm on holidays for a remaining week and after that the car will be available to be looked at after 5pm weekdays.

$11,000 ONO, includes all mods, stock parts and 12 months rego. NO RWC, can get one organised if need be but at your cost.

Cheers

Nice car mate, looks mean.. I dont mean to be a troll but I cant really see anyone dropping 11 k or so on this with the current damage on her.. maybe it would have been better to fix the damage and then try and sell, obviously everyone is in a different position though. That's just my opinion anyway, it might be different over there in Vic. You mentioned in the add that the repairs are not as much as people would think.. How much would one be looking at to have her in top condition body wise again? I'm no expert in the smash repair game which is why I am curious and asking and it may also help your sale if someone who isn't as knowledgeable when it comes to body repairs is interested.

Nonetheless good luck with the sale and free bump mate

it looks like someone got a baseball bat and just started taking their anger out on the car :(....

awesome car, So sad to see something like this happen to it.

Gl with sale, love the front bar also. looks really good, much much better than the stock ones.

thanks for the kind words guys iv been quoted between 2 - 3k for repairs from dt panels which are well known for the top notch work on various vic 15's

Worst case I'll be keeping her, I've got a feeling she knows i want to sell her and been driving like a dream the past couple of weeks so I'm slowly falling back in love with the car so will see what happens had plenty of close offers but I've got to part with it at the price I do otherwise there's no real point for me..

thanks again though !

to be 100% honest the car was put through a cyclone fence at roughly 20km/h hence the damages arent bad, neither windscreen broke or crack as to show how slow the impact was its still got the jap rego sticker on it and retains the factory rubbers to prove my point..

the car in no way at all is a write off or on the registry, feel free to check it on the vic roads website, can supply vin's and engine numbers what ever you need as there is nothing to hide here...

if your serious about purchasing best to come look at the car your self in person and you'll be able to understand the damages a lot more.. or feel free to call me and I'm happy to discuss anything that may puzzle you.

thanks again

Trent

Bump...

Had alot of interest but as usual alot of tyre kickers and so forth.. most of the true interest is coming from interstate which is strange but fine by me. Feel free to call me to discuss anything.

Cheers

    • @666DAN sorry to bring you and old thread.     I've got my de+t done and it's all running great other than 1 small issue.    Car has remained auto with the na auto and tcm, I've used a stagea ecu with. NIstune board and everything is great other than my gear selection on the dash. It illuminates park, reverse, neutral, 3rd and 2nd when selected . But nothing when in  drive or what gear your in when you pop it into tiptronic. I'm sure there is maybe 1 wire in the ecu plug I need to move to rectify this. Do ya have any ideas?     Cheers man
    • Well I recently changed my rear axles and was thinking if I bumped anything, I have been driving the car for a while now though... But it has been raining today so everything is wet under the wheel arches. Brakes feel fine and can't hear any of the metal screamers, I had a squeak coming from one of the handbrake drums but that seems to have gone away a while ago. I was going down a hill when it lit up and I did feel the abs bite for a second and question why it did it?
    • Correct. Um. I dunno. I haven't cared enough about the way that the NA cars work to know for sure. But..... The 33/34 turbo manual cars have an electronic speed sensor in the gearbox that outputs a +/- (ie, sawtooth AC) voltage signal. That is connected to the speedo. The speedo then outputs a 0-5v square wave (ie, PWM) signal that the ECU (and any other CU on the bus) sees. The speed sensor is NOT directly connected to the ECU. So here's the problem. Your new ECU expects to see the PWM signal, but must somehow be getting a direct signal from the diff speed sensor. Which would suggest that the wiring of the NA car is not the same as the turbo cars. I think you will need to spend some time with (hopefully the wiring diagram for the car) and a multimeter to see what is connected to what. Then, presuming I am correct**, you would then want to separate the ECU speed signal input from the rest of the car's wiring, and probably either buy a speed signal converter, or build one using an arduino (or similar). That would take in the speed sensor signal and output a scaled (and suitably rearranged) signal for the ECU. ** We shouldn't presume that I am correct here, because there might be something else crazy going on. I don't think you could convert the speedo to be fed from the gearbox sensor, because the pulse rate from that sensor is probably different to the diff sensor and then the speedo would read wrongly. And this also wouldn't fix the ECU's problem either, because the ECU doesn't want to see the gearbox signal direct either (assuming that they are all on the same wiring, for some odd NA related reason, see above caveat!) Does this help? Probably not. Can you make it work? Almost certainly. With the above work. You should buy a handheld oscilloscope from Aliexpress so that you can view these signals directly. Connect up the probes and drive the car. Show photos of the screen when drving at known speeds and connected to different places, and we'll see what we can learn about it.
    • Assuming your brake pads are not worn right down, I'd add a little brake fluid. Is there any sign of a brake fluid leak?
    • Hello all,  I need of some help. On my drive home my handbrake light lit up and started flashing. When I got home I checked my handbrake sensor under the centre console and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I have scanned my car via the consult port, no codes shown. Checked my brake fluid as well which is half full. Tried unplugging the brake master but it didn't change anything. Thoughts on what it could be? The master float doesn't seem to be stuck. My car is an 1998 ER34 sedan GT. No hicas but has ABS Photos below 👇🏾
