First Time Down The Strip.

Hey fellas just thought I would post up my stats and my first outings results.

So Ive just had the engine built in my 32 GTR, pistons, rods, nitto oil pump, poncams, 2860-5s, plug in ViPec blah blah. Anyway we only had time to tune it 15psi and spun out 300kw. Still a very basic tune and haven't touched cam timing yet. Anyway last wed night i dragged the car down to WSID in hopes of cracking into the 11s. First pass went 11.55 at 120, 2nd pass went 11.65 at 120 ( bogged it on the start) and the final pass I let all tyres down to 25psi and reeled off 11.35 at 121.79 with a 1.7 60ft. Wheel spun the whole of first so still some in it as is. In 2 weeks it goes back to rape it for what its worth on pump then doing a tune on C16. Will be interesting to see what its got in it with a full tune.

A bloke here in newcastle is doing the tuning. He also built the motor. Names Adam, he used to work at TM motorsport on the central coast i think.

what tyres were u running?

Toyo proxes TQs 255s on stock wheels man. Was running 25 psi on the last pass. Was a bit worried about busting the box lol. Next time out I will let them down to 20psi and let it rip!
