hi guys,

got myself a new set of rims so i can do away with these. they came on the car when i bought it. last owner said that they were on the car from japan.

what im selling: set of 4 SSR professor SP1 rims - 17" x 8.5(f) and 9.5® +35 offset in chrome.

the rears are +35 offset for sure, as i can see the sticker but I haven't taken the fronts off to check yet. as they are now, the fronts sit FLUSH in line with the guards, not rolled to my knowledge.

also on the rims are a set of 4 very good condition nankang NS-II tyres. you know tyres then you know their 'quality'. I didn't put them on, previous owner did.

HOWEVER: biggest catch here, and be warned, is that 2 of the rims have buckles and 3 have 'bad' rashes (enough to say, rip of threads of a cloth if you tried to wipe the rims) and one has what i'd call minor rash.

Would have kept this set to store away and eventually work on, but, i have all the wheels that i'll need for the foreseeable future right now. so they will go - if someone will take them.

Looking for 1000$ ONO for rims+tyres. They ARE SSR professors, after all. But talk to me with an offer, I'll listen.

Picture is how they look on my car as of now. If you're genuinely interested then PM me your email and I can send you detailed pics of the condition of the rims themselves. As I said before, the TYRES are near-new (only a few months old, and no hard driving has been done) and the rims are in worse-for-wear condition.

I know price normally goes DOWN but I'd like to bump it up to starting at 1500$ for the set. Reason is, thought about it, 1000$ for SSRs...bargain but I do kind of need the money so would like to get what i can of course, am negotiable. As mentioned before, pics should be seen first =)

GHO5T - they hold pressure fine. there is vibration at 100+ km/h BUT i cannot verify it is due to the wheels themselves, as I have not had an alignment yet as well as the fact i have a few suspension issues right now, so not sure if vibration because of rims. keeping in mind i've only had the car for roughly a month, previous owner didn't take much care of it.

Bump. Wheels are off the car, in my garage ready.

Fronts: 17 x 8.5 +35

Rears: 17 x 9.5 +35

Nankang NS-II on them, put on about 6 months ago (previous owner)

Rash and buckle on a few rims, outer lip only so holds air fine. I have pics so PM me with email or number and I'll send them right over.

Negotiable, starting from $1300. Willing to ship but paid and organised by buyer not me. Located in Sydney NSW

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
