Docc
You will love it, Docc. I've got Martin's Cobb tune as well. It changes the car totally. I've only got a HKS midpipe, K&N filters & Willall Tranny fluid. Yeah, I'm thinking of E85 too, Domino! But I haven't got injectors and pump yet. We should meet up for a cruise, if you like. I'm in Melbourne too. yep we should catch up oneday... Docc
Domino is good at fitting R35 fuel pumps using toothpics, what a ninja. R35 on 98 = Average R35 on E85 = Awesome simple math there. next mod...think it'll cost another $2k or so from what I've read and heard Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/419728-new-r35-owner-melbourne/page/2/#findComment-6762064 Share on other sites
Docc
Back from Willall, big thanks to Martin and crew for everything. Renew package and mid pipe picked up just over 50awkw from stock taking it to 340awkw (30 over a stock MY12). Sounds much better, beds down hard and drives smoother too. Yet to put it through it's paces as mainly highway driving back from SA but very noticeable difference nonetheless. LC5 has apparently been tweaked recently- that's been installed and ready to go! domino_z
aggressive'ness of clutch release/slip goes up from LC2 onwards. also improves regular shifts - LC4 is the sweet spot the change in launch rpm is in your tune and can't be adjusted yourself with the cobb those with 09 model cars can choose to upload the program to launch in R traction mode like the 2010 onwards Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/419728-new-r35-owner-melbourne/page/2/#findComment-6765789 Share on other sites
Docc
i was all set to run with LC4 (VDC Off) on Martin's advice until he mentioned a refinement in LC5 (RRR) and installed it instead...not sure what the change was though... Martin Donnon
Changes to LC5 settings are those that we can do via the ProTuner software such as RPM Launch limit etc. With the Launch counter raised to 12 its now a no-brainer to upgrade to LC5 in these cars as the clutch engagement is even more refined Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/419728-new-r35-owner-melbourne/page/2/#findComment-6765949 Share on other sites

maxzugkraft
Ahhh...I see. Thanks for the update. I've had the LC5 for a while but never found the difference apart from the R mode stays on when flicking between auto and manual - which is a good feature.
