mods: sorry if this isn't allowed. but its the weekend and don't know anyone to call.

hey guys, problem has arisen and car is dead and stranded away from home (note: im home but left the car) FML.

car: R34 GTT 1999

Problem:

Drove to [location]. Got out. 15 mins later come back to the car and realise that my parkers are still on (and hence tail lights). I press 'unlock' on my remote, and i see the parkers turn off. Strange, i thought - cos the light indicator switch inside was still 'on'. So I look inside and put my key in and turn it to ACC, NOTHING. I then turn off the light indicator, and try to start the car. Silence, not a crank at all.

I close the car door, try to lock the car. Nothing.

Get a mate to come and jump start - nothing.

All i hear when I turn the light indicator switch is a very faint 'tick' which I think the alarm/relays(i made that up) make, when something is activated.

Checked the fuse box, seems like the 2 MAIN fuses have some corrosion on them but definitely not burnt out (from the top anyway).

it is a brand new battery, less than a month old. Possibly alternator related though....?

Don't think it is immobiliser because the LED doesn't even flash, and the car won't lock/unlock itself.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me a hand? IE, recommend an auto electricion (mobile, obviously) or mechanic who will work on a sunday?

Anything is much appreciated...just want to get him alive, or at least back home. Will be going back tomorrow to try and pop in another battery.

Can be contacted on 04 22 839 88eight.

Cheers, Chris.
