BBQ at the point.


Description:

Just a casual get together for a BBQ and chat, a great way to get to know your other club members.


Location:

Kangaroo Point, the park at the bottom of the cliffs right on the river.

Parking is limited in front of the park but there is a lot more back up the road near the Maritime Museum. There is also quite a few parks on Riverside Terrace at the top of the cliffs if you can't find any on the river.

Sunday, 26th of May.


Time:

9 AM.


Cost:

Members - Gold coin donation

Non members - $5

Drinks - $2


Please bring cash as we don't have EFTPOS :thumbsup:


Attendees:

We are going to need firm numbers at least a week out to organise catering so let us know if you're coming.

Hmm I haven't been to kangaroo point for about 2 years, hmmm jap nats you say.

Just a suggestion I know the BBQ is organized already would it be stupid to suggest to see if we could bring a BBQ to the actual event for a club BBQ more people more money for the club? Hope that don't sound stupid

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
