So thinking of getting an Apexi power fc with the controller for my 33 to replace the stock ecu prior to doing any power upgrades. Would the AFM need replacing? Also does anyone know what pricing I would looking at for one? And wlany suggestions where to purchase it from etc? Any other information I need to know to do this would also be helpful just trying to plan ahead so I know what im getting myself into.

Currently engine and attachments are pretty stock only have pod filter and bigger front mount intercooler.

The plan for the future:

High flowed R34 turbo

Atleast 500cc injectors

Upgraded fuel pump

(Trying to avoid doing any internal work for the next 5yrs or so)

Thanks in advance.

What you're planning is spot on for first round mods. Do the PFC and fuel pump first, you can leave the stock AFM and injectors. Id also recommend a good ebc. Get it dyno tuned from a reputable place and away you go! You'll be good for at least 200-210 kW at the wheels. Done go higher then 10psi boost or else you'll kill the turbo.

You'll have the right 'base' setup for upgrade turbo & injectors later on.

Go for 550cc nismo or jecs injectors and upgrade the AFM to a genuine Bosch z32. You've already got a front mount intercooler so you're set.

Look around here for a pfc, there's always someone selling.

Enjoy!
