Changing suspension - Opinions???

Recommended Posts

I have a bit of a choice to make.

Currently I have Mayron Coilovers (Japanese brand) that originally came with the car when I bought it. What I am finding is that the ride can be very rough going over bumps and now being back in Brisbane it is notorious.

So the first option I have is to go back to the stock standard skyline suspension (which I have never tried).

Or having looked at this forum maybe play with the springs as they maybe be a bit on stronger side considering it was done in japan.

I am not hoping to do a track setup, but rather enjoy the sport car feel to driving... but the bumpiness can get to the point where it disrupts my shifting.

Any opinions would be fantastic and much appreciated.

Cheers!

There are a few good threads on suspension for R33's, have a search.

If you want good handling but you don't want it to be to hard I would susguest Bilstein Shocks and Whiteline Springs. they lower it by about 35mm.
