Hi,

I'm needing to sell my skyline as we just got a brand new grand cherokee, I want it as my car and the missus hates driving the liney, she wants a 03+ Mini Cooper or maybe something similar so let me know what you have to swap, I wouldn't mind a little bit of cash my way too.

I got the skyline at the beginning of the year after swapping it for a f100 "monster truck" I had, he had the skyline for sale for 18k, I'm asking 16,000 but am open to fair offers as I am pretty keen to sell, here's what I was told about the car.....

1999 Nissan skyline manual r34 gtt,

white,

nismo kit,

enkei's,

twin plate clutch,

cross drilled and slotted front rotors,

turbo timer,

profec b boost controller,

auto meter boost gauge,

nismo 300km/h dash,

greedy exhaust,

cross flow front mount,

z32,

near new garrett bb gt3076 running 21psi,

1000cc injectors,

apexi power fc and commander,

all low mount, looks pretty stock, sounds awesome on boost, tuned by pulse racing, 285 rwkw, about 400rwhp, lots of money spent on this car, CD player, factory electric sunroof.

Very fun to drive, serious buyers only, no test pilots, If your after a something really quick but not attract the wrong attention, this ones for you, every thing works, cold air con, sunroof works and doesn't leak, even the power fold mirrors work, no holes in boot from wing removal as it's never had one.

Car is in good condition, has a small ding near the fuel filler, the front end is a little chipped on the bottom edge, has some stone chips, all to be expected of a 99 model car, just don't want anyone expecting a show car.

Thanks,

Mark,

  • 2 weeks later...

Well if someone bought my car for $10k (would take 12 months to sell for that figure) and you could register it in SA I would buy it for 16, oh well, nice to dream.

edit: Unless you want an R32 with basically the same running gear as what is in yours lol

Why do you have to sell it so bad, also what are you going to replace the feeling of boost with?

I sold mine, bought another one 6 months later as I couldn't hack it lol. Once the bug bites, you are stuck with it for life!

Haha I know what you mean. But we got a brand new grand cherokee and I want it haha so I gotta get her something she likes, like a 08 impreza hatch or something. I'm sick of watching the k's rack up on the jeep and the door dings and shit from the school drop offs and shopping centre car parks she seems to be at every day haha, I just want the jeep to drive everyday, it's pretty nice, brilliant black, I'm gunna murder it out, we took it to stockton beach when it was 3 weeks old, I was pretty impressed with it too, not the same as 3rd gear on 20 pound at 7000 tho haha.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
