Att: HIRISK

Recommended Posts

Guest Schmeddo

I Was heading home from werk last night and saw a Black 33 with "HIRISK" plates parked in an alley off Little Collins Street.

As I haven't got my 33 just yet I haven't been on any cruises. This is was the first example of one of you blokes outside this forum and I was just interested if you Live/Work/ or play around there.

Just curious

Cheers.

Fark,

That sucks!!

I have had the user name "HIRISK" on various forums for a few years now and actually rang Vic Roads a long while back to check the availability of the plates and they said it was still available, not any more by the sound of it!!!

Oh well, I was to slow.

Hey Richie,

I think you'll find that the HIRISK white 32 has now been sold and Shaun is puttering around in a different vehicle these days.

Although still 4WD, it has no turbs :)

Hey Schmeddo, I was wondering what happened to your posts. It was a little confusing after you changed your handle. I only recognised it after I read your tag.

    • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
