Ha ha Olivia my wife got a free beanie just before terry grabbed the last cap Muhahahahahaha!!!!

And apparently "Im the man" according to Adam. I told him that Matt has spent way more money then me so he should hold that title.

Or maybe you might get it matt once you reach 400kw on a stock rb25

If you buy and ECU or Dash, I'll make sure that you get a beanie and a cap!

Haha sounds like an expensive Beanie ;) But worth every cent...

On behalf of Haltech I would like to thank Adam from JEM and all the SAUNSW execs and members for an enjoyable day. We always enjoy interacting and getting feedback from our end users and it's great catching up with you all. We also hope you enjoyed our presentation, given the opportunity Matt our Brand Manager would have been able to keep going for hours  He was super excited when he found the photo of a young Adam asleep in the old Haltech offices :P

If anyone would like to ask some post-event questions directly to us Sales & Tech guys, feel free to send them through to [email protected] with "SAU Tech Day" in the subject line and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I would like to thank SAU for organising another great information afternoon. Adam provided a good presentation and was a great host for the event - not to mention the informative presentations from the respective manufacturers.

Those caps and beanies were there one minute and gone the next - when we arrived home Clinton produced one of the caps from his show bag. Who else was lucky enough to grab one - apart from Terry?

Maybe this is why you cant get 400kw Matt. Cause Adams falling asleep anywhere after 300kw while sitting on the dyno.

Oh i dont think anyone can sleep through that sound

I enjoyed learning how eflex works and what it takes to tune such a set up. Being a mechanic myself i still didnt fully understand how an engine could run and work out exactly how much Ethanol was in the blend of fuel. Now i know. Even Olivia felt much more educated after the tech night :)

To-day's the last day that you can take advantage of the Adaptronic offer.

And we at SAU, appreciated that offer given to us.

Wide-band AFR Kit can be most useful!

Adam tutored us really well on what it can do!

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
